Definitely a classic it’s binge worthy as hell and the definition of a good gateway anime if you want to get a friend or relative into it that isn’t from the big main titles in the West specifically you know Naruto, DragonBall, One Piece, Bleach etc it’s so many Light Yagami's death in the Death Note anime differed slightly from the manga version, but the end result is similar nonetheless. Light has a plan to defeat Near, but Teru Mikami's unwise actions give Near the upper hand, exposing Light as Kira. Cornered, Light starts to panic, which gives his enemies the chance to finish him off. .
